Xiaohan was founded in 2019 in Zhongshan, Guangdong — a city better known for furniture manufacturing than pet products. Our founders came from the mold industry: 20+ years of making the tooling that other factories use. We figured pet products needed the same precision-engineering discipline that consumer electronics had, and the rest is history.

Today we run a 300-person factory making stainless steel and smart self-cleaning cat litter boxes. We ship to Amazon top sellers, big-box retailers, and pet specialty brands across 16 countries on 3 continents. Total cumulative output: over 200,000 units.

Three principles guide every decision

One outstanding design

If a product doesn't make the customer say "wow" when they unbox it, we won't ship it. Every SKU goes through internal design review before tooling.

One set of practical features

Cat owners are practical people. Features that don't survive the "does this actually help" test get cut. We'd rather make 5 features brilliant than 15 features mediocre.

One honest price

We price for the customer's margin, not ours. A buyer who makes 40% gross on our product will come back. A buyer who makes 5% on a cheaper SKU won't be in business next year.

Our team

Core team: 8 mold designers, 30+ injection molders, 12 QA inspectors, 8 in sales and customer service. Production scales up to 300+ workers during peak periods. Every team member is on payroll — no outsourcing of core production.

Our customers

We work with three groups: Amazon FBA sellers (brand owners who private-label our products and sell on Amazon US/EU/JP), big-box retailers (placing in Walmart and PetSmart), and regional pet brands (in Korea, Japan, Australia, Brazil). Most we can't name due to NDAs — but if you've bought a stainless steel litter box on Amazon US in the past two years, there's a real chance we made it.

What's next

We invested ¥20M in product mold R&D over the past two years, and another ¥10M specifically in smart self-cleaning litter boxes (the Cube and Aurora series). 2026 roadmap includes WiFi-enabled smart variants, app integration with major pet platforms, and a sustainability line using FSC-certified packaging and recycled stainless steel.

This is why our smart litter boxes don’t talk to Alexa — most owners don’t use it, but it adds $4/unit to cost and 3 months to certification.

This is what we mean by “specialist”: we’re not the cheapest, not the fastest, and certainly not the biggest. We’re the right partner for brands that take their category seriously and want to win on product, not on price.
